Whislt I am not a great one for ’sayings’ in business, the adage “those that fail to plan, plan to fail” is one that rings true.

But the most applicable to running a successful Multi Level marketing business is the acronym K.I.S.S.

I spent yesterday evening chatting with a very successful MLM entrpreneur. His income was in the 6 figures and he hadn’t worked for five years!

The thing is, he wasn’t a genius by any stretch of the imagination but he did say a couple of things that bring me back to the KISS principle.

When he started out in his MLM business 11 years ago he had one aim. The single goal was to find 5 people who he could share his business opportunity with.

Just 5 people.

He found his 5 people and made sure that he helped them to replicate what he had done. He gave them  the support and whatever training was necessary to equip them to pass on the skills needed so that this target was met by each of them…and so on and so forth.

From his five people begat a business of over 6000 and a resulting income in the $millions.

Do you know 5 people?

Do you know 5 people who are serious enough to want to be successful and who have the work ethic and drive to want a better income and quality of life?

(To get people really excited about the inlife Business it probably helps to smoke but this is not essential. Most people will be able to see the potential of this huge market and innovative product. If they do smoke, then you get 5 people who understand how good the product is by using it… and you probably help elongate their life into the bargain..not a bad turn from a friend!)

If you can answer the above in the positive, then this business is for you.

Because if can find 5 people and manage and help those five, then you will be a successful marketer and will build a high income for yourself in this business.

The guy I met last night was no rocket scientist. he was as ordinary as …..you and I.  I thought to myself, if this guy can do it….anyone can. Just follow the rules and KISS the recession goodbye.

In a recession as deep as the one we are currently experiencing it difficult to keep a poitive attitude when it comes to the future of your job and the security of your family.

I am sure that for the past weeks the workers at GM and Chrysler have been dreading the news that arrived for so many of them that their job was gone. Salesmen and women acroos the auto industry dealership are set to lose up to 300,000 jobs in the near future. Thats a lot of anxiety to go around.

If you are one of those workers and have come across this article then my message is a simple one. Don’t lose hope. Even in a recession there is opportunity. The trick is to recognise it when it comes along and grasp it with both hands.
