Hi,
What is this?
The question I heard outside the grocery store.
I joined Inlife a week ago and i am still waiting for my bus-cards to come, and i got my cigs two days before. I went for my home grocery and a couple approched me and asked me what is this? is this a somking quiting device. But when i start telling them that this is an alternate smoking device, how it works. Even I gave them a new cartage to open and have a try. They were surprised, and believe me the outside temp was
-29c c/w wind chill. They didn't care about the temp and they where taking puffs and engoying the smoke. Although I didn't have my bus-cards but gave my tele # and took there tele #. I also gave my website http://www.hancigs.com. Hopefully they are going to give me call.
My friends, I believe that these two products are so strong that they talk by them self with actions, and as a team we will give them a words.
I am so happy that I didn't even started my business and my team, and people start approching me and asking me a questions.

Love to be here

Good luck

Khan

Former Spanish Political Leader Angry

Sunday 31 January 2010 @ 11:32 am

Gaspar Llamazares who is now the deputy leader for the Spanish political party Izquierda Unida is extremely angry about the fact that the FBI have digitally enhanced a photograph of him to depict what Osama Bin Laden might look like now.

The US agency has denied any political motivation for the action and it appears that it came about through a routine trawl of Google when they came across a Spanish politician who had resemblances to the wanted terrorist who has a price of 25 million dollars on his head.

As the politician quite rightly stated ,the picture will not threaten Bin Laden but it just might be a threat to him personally. It appears that the FBI artist used the forehead, hair and jaw line to depict Bin Laden the Al Qaeda leader. It later appeared that the same photograph had been used to enhance the image of another terrorist Atiyah Abd al Rahman.

PM Zapatero has demanded an explanation from the new US Ambassador to Spain who has only been in post for a couple of weeks. The public affairs officer  at the US Embassy in Madrid is now thought to have telephoned Sr Llamazares and made a full apology.

Larry on “Cigarette Tobacco and Hitch Hiking Germs”

Just heard this today:
New research provides evidence that the average cigarette is crawling with germs, including bacteria that cause respiratory disease.

Exposure to bacteria is nothing new: Microbes surround us every day of our lives.

Still, the findings raise plenty of questions, said study lead author Amy R. Sapkota. "Right now, we've just taken the first step to identify what's there. Now we need to figure out if they are impacting human health."

Sapkota and colleagues looked for germs in four brands of cigarette: Camel, Kool Filter Kings, Lucky Strike Original Red and Marlboro Red. Previous research looked at specific types of germs, while the new study is all-encompassing, said Sapkota, assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Public Health.

The researchers found hundreds of types of bacteria in the cigarettes, including some that cause respiratory disease, lung and blood infections, foodborne illness, as well as infections that people get when they're in the hospital.

It's unclear how many of the germs can survive the heating process of smoking, said Sapkota.

But it's possible that many germs might make it into the lungs because only the tip of a cigarette is extremely hot, potentially allowing germs elsewhere to stay cooler.

Sapkota said it's too early to tell if the germs make smokers sick or are even harmful to people who breathe in smoke.

But it is clear that smokers have higher levels of bacteria in their respiratory tracts and higher rates of bacterial infection, she said. "But no one has ever looked to see if the cigarettes themselves could be a source of those bacterial infections."

John L. Pauly, a Roswell Park Cancer Institute research scientist who has studied germs and cigarettes, said the new study and others raise questions about whether the bacteria in cigarettes could be responsible for disease in the lungs, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. They may also cause disease in the mouth, he said.

It's also possible germs could cause chronic inflammation that could boost the likelihood of cancer, he said.

The source of the germs is unclear, but Pauly said they could appear during the preparation of tobacco. Sapkota agreed, adding that the cigarettes "could have been contaminated anywhere from seed to pack."
